A Non-Deposit Taking, Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC-MFI), Gangobira Microfinance Pvt. Ltd. The Company was first registered as a Private Limited Company; but, in November 1995, it underwent a conversion to become a Public Limited Company. Since 2007, the company has been involved in microfinance products like joint liability group loans and individual loans, and as per RBI regulations, it assists female borrowers. In 2015, it was recognised and re-registered to conduct business as an NBFC-MFI.
